Marta Henricson-Cullberg, Sören Sommelius, Carl-Ulrik Schierup och Jan Oberg
TFF 1991, 50 pages. ISSN 1103-7482, ISRN TFF-R--1--SE.

The first in theTFF series analysing conflicts and presenting 75 innovative proposals for nonviolent conflict-mitigation between Serbia and Croatia.
It explains how the war could be stopped, what the roots of the conflict are, the psychological mechanisms and why there are no simple solutions.
It also explains the conflict-mitigation concept and how TFF works in the field.
Furthermore, it was the first report to propose the deployment of UN peacekeepers in Croatia - something which happened just a few months later.
We at TFF are quite proud of this report. It gives some answers to the question we have been asked time and again because of our critical attitude to the West's Balkan conflict (mis)management: what would you have done instead?
More than 3000 copies sold or distributed worldwide. It has been read by statesmen, diplomats and activists in all parts of former Yugoslavia, in Europe and the UN.
